He has been in the travel trade since 1993, when Assam was restricted for foreign nationals (restriction was withdrawn in the year 1995 from the states of Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura and since 2011 restrictions was withdrawn for foreign nationals from the states of Manipur, Mizoram & Nagaland until further notice. Only Arunachal Pradesh requires special permission for foreign nationals and Koyeli Tours & Travels arranges the special permission. Indian Nationals require ILP- Inner Line Permit to visit the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Nagaland ), and is considered as one of the leading travel professionals in the region due to his unique understanding of the travel industry and the people who work in it.
